Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

**Responsibilities**

Plans, schedules and routes inbound – outbound shipment of freight.

Releases orders on a timely basis to adhere to customer shipping standards.

Creation of commercial / Proforma invoices

Coordinates with carriers and follows up with shipment process to ensure efficient, timely and least expensive movement of goods and material.

Conducts research and monitors transportation methods, rates and routes

Analyse transportation planning opportunities to reduce transportation cost.

Interfaces with various groups including customers, sales offices, corporate, and plant production departments and monitors orders from start to finish to ensure on time delivery of products. Coordinates with carriers and check freight bills.

Prepares for carrier contract negotiations.

Executes transportation service agreements and contracts for all modes of transportation.

Collects and accumulate data and statistics used in monthly reports and carrier performance reports.

Assist with monthly reports preparation. Assists in distributing mail when required. Manage repair shipments.

**Inbound main tasks:**

In contact with our international suppliers and our local purchasing team, ensure all the goods movement with our different forwarders (express operators (DHL-FedEx – UPS) , Air freight forwarders & Ocean freight forwarders).

Monitor the customs clearance process and all regulatory aspects (Trade Compliance)

**Outbound main tasks:**

In contact with Local production planning team and warehouse clerks, ensure smooth and good deliveries to our Distribution Centres abroad (express operators (DHL-FedEx – UPS) , Air freight forwarders).

Sales Orders invoicing & creation of proforma invoice.

Manage all shipments to laboratories, subcontractors and affiliates.

Manage shipments to our different Sterilization sites.

Manage all special requests such as temporary shipments.

Monitor all Regulatory aspects (Free Trade Agreement, Trade Compliance…)

Check and approve all transportations bills.

QUALIFICATIONS

What are we looking for?

**Qualifications**

**Education / background skills:**

University/Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Language, French & English fluent

Knowledge of Inbound & Export operations; Knowledge of customs regulations and regulatory aspects; IT tools; ERP system, Incoterms

**_IATA DANGEROUS GOODS REGULATION_** _(DGR)_ training would be a plus.

**Personal aptitudes / skills:**

Ability to work in teams; ability to multi-task; projects member; autonomy in work; motivated & available
