Our Client based in Basildon is looking for aself-motivated individual with strong administration and customer serviceskills to join their team on a permanent basis as an Import Assistant.
Full import training will be provided but you will needto be a natural team player who is keen and eager to learn, with goodcommunication skills and knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The main focus of the role is to provide operationalsupport to the Import Operators. This includes carrying out all importadministration, updating tracking documentation, checking deliveries arerunning on time, loading consignments onto the system and booking vehicles withsubcontractors. Other aspects of the role will involve assisting with filecharging, filing and completing relevant documentation.
You will need to be able to build strong relationshipswith clients, work to deadlines and react promptly to client requests withinthis fast paced environment. A "can do" attitude, strongorganisational, literacy and numeracy skills are all essential along with goodattention to detail.
