IBM Solutions Architect

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 12
• Provide hands-on development, design, implementation, and support of business solutions based on IBM Integration Bus (IIB) technology

·        Configure and develop features related to enterprise service bus (ESB) in conjunction with IBM SOA solutions (IIB, Message Broker, MQ, and DataPower)

·        Use your strong communication skills and technical knowledge to translate technical software solutions to non-technical clients

• Provide technical leadership throughout the development life cycle and focus on delivery of quality solutions
• Lead technical discussions and build consensus among engineers
• Manage cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations, and change requests on client cloud environments
• Monitor and maintain multiple (Infrastructure) environments based on client requirements
• Lead program optimization to work within constructs of an IBM Cloud infrastructure environment

Offering overview:  

·        Grow modernized mobility and transportation services 

·        Expand emerging infrastructure platforms such as drones and 5G networks 

·        Drive the pipeline of our biggest “Operate” deals from the A-I-O lifecycle 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an IT related field or equivalent work experience
• IBM Certifications: IBM Integration Bus, IBM MQ, IBM DataPower
• 10+ years of experience architecting large scale infrastructure services and solutions
• Experience with Java, REST, Splunk, EDI, FHIR, SOAP as well as Unix Shell Scripting and Ansible Tower (Red Hat)
• Demonstrated success in spearheading critical technical solutions involving multiple teams/resources
• Must live in or able to relocate to Lake Mary, FL area.
• Travel up to 10% annually (While 10% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Linux, VMWARE, Network firewall devices and Storage (SAN) administration
