The Experience:
As part of Colgate-Palmolive’s Digital Transformation journey, we are building out the first phase of an in-house capability to create fast-twitch, agile, digital and eCommerce creative content. This new in-house content studio will live within our Impactful Brand Experience (IBE) team in our North America division, and cover well known consumer brands across our oral care, personal care and home care categories.
We are seeking a dynamic, creative and resourceful leader who can help create our studio from the ground up. In this exciting new role, you will work closely with our in-house content specialists, source and manage freelance talent, and find innovative, boutique agency resources that can help bring our brands to life through social media, digital video, display, owned and eCommerce channels. The ideal candidate will strike that unique balance between operational excellence in digital creative and end-to-end project management to deliver best-in-class digital creative and content that can be deployed, iterated and optimized throughout a campaign.
Your responsibilities:
Establish and launch the content-studio for Colgate North America, including a roadmap for evolving the studio’s capabilities over time.
Oversee a production budget of $1MM+
Manage team of ‘full-funnel’ digital content creators to create digital, social and eCommerce assets; prospect talent to build a best in class team
Work closely with brand marketers and consumer insights teams to translate brand, commercial and communication objectives to specific content deliverables for consumer marketing.
Lead projects from initial idea to final completion, including establishing work flows including process for A/B testing and optimizations.
Assess briefs, assign designers/content creators to projects, proof and review work against brief
Define and safeguard best practice content creation, management standards and processes, and provide guidance and capability building for teams

What you need:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 7+ years prior experience within digital and eCommerce content production, social media design, or graphic design, including online copywriting skills preferred
Experience in social media content production and planning
Demonstrated leadership ability with 2+ years of management experience, experience managing a team of creatives preferred
Production and studio management skills
Knowledge of freelance market; established relationships with freelancer networks, a plus
Expertise in driving the day-to-day operations of creative teams and delivering outstanding creative in service to brand marketing
High level of initiative, assertiveness and self-direction with excellent communication skills
