You will need to be experienced engineer in producing detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, site surveys, schedules, and other related materials.

You will be experienced using electrical engineering tools, such as computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment, to carry out responsibilities.

HV Electrical Engineer

Location: East Grinstead

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out service and project related work within agreed upon deadlines and according to the budget.
• Technical support to Asset Management.
• Detailed design of HV engineering.
• Concept and detailed design for integration of new modularized traction substations in 25kV AC supply networks.
• Earthing systems specialist design and technical support.
• DC Electrical Track Equipment (ETE) including conductor rail design.
• OLE design of power structures, foundations.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous TFL/Network Rail experience
• B.Sc. (in Electrical Engineering)
• C.Eng. or working towards
• SCADA RTU configuration works red and green drawings I/O schedules.
• AC power modelling and system studies to perform load flow and SC circuit studies.
• Simulate for power system modelling and Power system studies.
• Power System Reliability Modelling.
• Harmonic Profile Modelling and assessments.
• AC Protection Studies to achieve protection relay settings.
