Job Description

As a human resources consultant lead, you’ll support a team of professionals across the Corporate (Corp) Legal, Corp Marketing, and Enterprise Security teams while encouraging a high-performance culture.  You'll partner with all levels of management and work with roughly 400 Progressive people to resolve employee related issues and mitigate risk for the organization. This role focuses on our people, supporting our business in coaching, developing, and other exciting initiatives. As a key member of our HR organization, you’ll help us maintain an environment of inclusivity for all employees. This is an opportunity to work with a strong team whose goal is to proactively build relationships at all levels in the organization and collaborate to continue to make Progressive a great place to work. This position is open to hybrid work; location is flexible with ability to frequently travel to assigned offices.

Must have qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 6 years related work experience in Human Resources or business operations that includes leading people or cross functional teams

In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years related work experience in Human Resources or business operations that includes leading people or cross functional teams.

Preferred skills

Proven ability to influence others while maintaining partnerships and being strategic

Proven ability to successfully understand, apply knowledge and experience of HR practices and procedures

Proven ability to problem-solve independently and without authority

Proven ability to understand the strategies of the business and HRs role

Demonstrated leadership skills

Compensation  

$80,300 - $107,000/year

Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
