We are currently looking for Human Resources (HR) Administrators with previous demonstration of HR administration/leadership skills to join our dynamic project team working on the start-up of our new 1.3MM square foot warehouse distribution and customer fulfillment center in Morris, IL.

What will you do? 

This role is responsible for the successful coordination and delivery of most of the people systems and supporting HR processes to ensure the needs of the business and employees are met.  HR Administrators often are the first point of contact for Human Resources inquiries. HR Administrators have ownership for recruiting coordination, community engagement, employee data administration, new employee onboarding, payroll & benefits administration, leave of absence administration, site administration, travel/expense reporting systems, and other systems/processes/projects as required by business needs.  This role is a technician leadership role.  

To be successful in this role, you should have/develop a sound understanding of company and site HR policies as well as knowledge of labor laws. Applicants should be able to problem solve and possess the capability to analyze and effectively handle HR related cases and situations. The HR Administrator will achieve this, while effectively partnering with the rest of the on-site HR team, site leadership, and the North America HR network, learning and reapplying from proven methodologies.

Qualifications

We are seeking individuals who have the following qualities:

  • Previously demonstrated HR and/or administrative leadership skills

  • Previous experience in recruiting or community engagement

  • Positive attitude and professional approach with ability to work well with others

  • Reliable and eager to learn new systems at a quick pace

  • Ability to train and coach peers on system issues and improvement work

  • Critical thinking ability and problem solving skills 

  • Sense of urgency and bias for action to deliver expected results 

  • Successfully manages multiple priorities, can operate under pressure, can internally assess risk and knows when to ask for help 

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multi-functional teams, both internal and external to the site

  • Ability to use computerized administration systems (e.g. word, excel, PowerPoint)

  • Workday experience preferred

  • Willing to travel on occasion for company paid training and on-boarding

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift 40 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders and platforms; twist, turn and bend

  • Be willing to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to eye protection, safety vest, hearing protection and safety shoes
