Responsibilities:

Hulu is seeking an intern who will be an exceptional addition to our original content publicity team. As an intern at Hulu, you will be an integral part of the team assisting with content communications. The right person for this role is organized, has excellent project management skills, outstanding writing abilities, and a passion for entertainment. What You’ll Do

• Compile daily press clippings and publicity recaps

• Assign screeners to media

• Write first drafts of communications documents: briefing sheets, pitches, trailer/key art and screener blasts

• Put together first drafts of talent schedules and learn publicity logistics, such as booking flights, hotels and cars

• Contribute to brainstorming sessions.

• Help track and measure PR campaign performance

• Update and organize media lists and other press materials

• Track and field media inquiries

• Attend and coordinate logistics for industry events

Basic Qualifications:

What to Bring

• Strong interest in publicity

• Currently majoring in public relations, communications, journalism, English, or other field with strong writing skills required

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Understanding of social platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of TV landscape

• Prior internship experience in a communications field is strongly preferred

• Pop Culture Junkie and knowledge of the industry

• Experience with tools such as Muck Rack, Meltwater, IMDbPro, MailChimp, Studio System, Google Suites (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office

Required Education

  • Junior or Senior or recent graduate

Additional Information:

Internship Eligibility:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Unrestricted work authorization
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate program at a college/university taking at least one class in the semester prior to participation in the internship program, or recently graduated within six months at time of application.
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • The approximate dates of this internship are May/June - January 2023.
  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
