Responsibilities:

Hulu Originals Content team is seeking a Drama Development intern who will be an exceptional addition to our growing team. As Drama Development intern, you will impact the productivity and efficiency of the Content team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, curious, and an outside-the-box thinker. If you are someone who is an avid content-consumer, can form and express a creative opinion, is eager to learn, shadow, and grow, and who is ready to dive into any challenge head-first, than this is a great role for you.

Responsibilities include:

• Script Coverage
• Updating Contact Sheets and Distro Grids for Current Series
• Updating writer/director/talent grids
• Deep-dive into Gen-Z Streaming Trends and Culture
• Sending out weekly emails to the drama team that include upcoming movies/box office information, plays, and cultural events.
• Updating project submission information into the submission log/Airtable
• Take meeting notes on internal drama meetings
• Assistance with daily meeting updates
• Assistance with expense reports
• Assisting with desk coverage as-needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with organizational skills (scheduling, travel arrangements, and professional meetings/events).
• Curiosity, creativity, a motivated self-starter.
• Tenacity with a collaborative, results-oriented and positive attitude.
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• A “can-do” attitude; nothing is too large or too small.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior content development internship experience at an agency, production company, studio, or network.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Outlook

Required Education

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program.

Additional Information:

• All candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
• All candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
• All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship. Position is located in Santa Monica, CA.

Program Dates:

• All candidates must be available from June through December/January.
• All candidates must be willing to work 40 hours/week (9am to 6pm PST)
