Responsibilities

With regards to SME areas of responsibility:

Developing and maintaining policy and processes regarding HS&EP compliance auditing within AP8000.??

Developing a?compliance audits?schedule based on requirements identified by CESO(RAF).???

Regular liaison with Gp safety organisations?and the RAF SC Oversight?&?Analysis (O&A)?Team?to coordinate the HS&EP compliance audit?schedule.?

Maintaining?links with?other TLB?and?AIR TLB?Group safety organisations, whilst providing?advice on?HS&EP?specific matters?relating to compliance audits.?

Conducting HS&EP compliance audits,?as directed?by SO1?HS&EP Lead Auditor.?

Prompt staffing of all?HS&EP?compliance?audit?reports?through SO1 HS&EP Lead Auditor.?

Ensuring?audit observations?are included in an action plan which is?tracked until complete, including obtaining evidence, where appropriate.?

Providing analysis and trending of?HS&EP compliance audit report?recommendations.?

Providing input to the?CESO(RAF) and?RAF SC O&A Team?assurance dashboards?in an agreed format.?

Delivering?HS&EP?focused?briefings and?presentations?originating from tasks undertaken?as directed by the?Hd?RAF?SC, CESO(RAF)?and SO1?HS&EP Lead Auditor.??These could be internal or external such as Parliamentary/Ministerial business, FOI/EIR2?requests and media briefings or press releases, as required.?

When requested, assisting?in the coordination and delivery of RAF Safety?communications.?

Undertaking the necessary actions to ensure all SQEP related aspects that relate to the post are achieved in the earliest practical time and subsequently maintained.?

Undertake and provide Oversight and Analysis (O&A) support to the CESO organisation.

Representing?SO1?HS&EP Lead Auditor?when required.

Qualifications

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. A recognised Level 2 Environmental Qualification.
