HR Services is critical to the overall effectiveness of the HR experience across Microsoft. HR Services brings the HR support model and experience to the scale of the global Microsoft employee population by providing the platform for end-to-end operational services and employee experiences with responsibilities spanning employee self-service, assisted support, and employee relations. HR Services is responsible for the operational delivery across a broad range of employee life-cycle experiences such as onboarding, talent movement, and offboarding. As the catalyst for HR digital transformation, HR Services is also leading the Human Capital Management solution strategy with the global launch of our new HR Core Solution. HR Services holds the key accountability for HR privacy, risk and compliance.
The Data Changes Manager will lead a team managing all data changes during employee life cycle related to employment and personal data, including compensation and allowance changes resulting in payroll activity. Requires In depth understanding of employee data management lifecycle and payroll actions as a result of any such data changes. This team manages high-profile, complex, and unique cases that require a high level of investigation, consulting, and decision making to successfully resolve. Therefore, this role requires excellent active listening, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of HR policies, systems, and operational practices and a strong understanding of HR data implications on the payroll systems in order to deliver a great employee experience. This role will closely partner with the payroll program manager to continuously streamline downstream data flow, drive payroll input accuracy and timeliness that will achieve operational efficiency in payroll processes. The role will orchestrate input controls across payroll process, working with other service lines, and develop and monitor framework to ensure robust controls all through employee life cycle changes. You will apply the experience and expertise that you gain through successfully resolving these complex cases to develop and improve our operational quality and efficiency as well as the global end-to-end process and policy design for our Employee Lifecycle Programs.
