Summary & Role Information
 

  • The HR Business Partner, Corporate collaborates with assigned business functions within Brunswick corporate and enterprise functions, to support organizational people strategies and to facilitate achievement of business plans and objectives. The HRBP also serves as a consultant and key resource in execution of enterprise HR programs.
     

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Engages assigned corporate functions to provide HR support developing trust and credibility amongst client groups across all levels.
    • Analyze data and make recommendations to the management team for employee engagement, retention and talent development and continuous improvement.
    • Proactively explore, identify, evaluate, and propose options to resolve complex HR issues, working with employees and managers advocating for best possible approach for all those involved.
    • Perform investigations to drive to final resolution.
    • Act as ambassador for our aspirational Brunswick culture, supporting and influencing inclusion and belonging.
    • Provide policy interpretation, advice and guidance to managers and employees.
    • Ensure supported functions motivate employees and implement employee engagement action items to continually improve engagement.
    • Ensure best practice talent management to align talent to develop bench strength and meet business objectives.
  • Provides HR leadership to iJet Lab and internship program, managing HR intern and HR internship recruiting.
  • Drives assigned strategic HR programs and projects to support business success across the enterprise, including performance management program, and other key people initiatives.
  • Participate in organizational planning with business partners, providing value added recommendations.
  • Manage and balances multiple demands and priorities to achieve optimal results.
  • Coordinate with HR counterparts across the enterprise to ensure alignment and completion of activities for matrixed functions.
     

Experience & Requirements
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field. Masters in HR a plus.
  • 5+ years as a HR Business Partner or comparable working experience.
  • Experience in HR topics such as: Talent Development, Compensation, Organization Design, DE&I, Employee Relations along with sound knowledge of employment law.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize solutions and creatively problem solve for situations that set precedents with excellent judgement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in coaching, conflict resolution, influencing, relationship and team building.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Handles sensitive matters with tact and discretion while maintaining confidentiality
  • Self-motivated and ability to work proactively with within a fast-paced team environment
  • Requires working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and HRIS systems (Workday a plus).
