The UK Amazon logistics (AMZL) HR team is seeking an experienced candidate to identify, create, develop and lead innovative solutions that result in network improvement and facilitate people capability growth. This involves building collaborative relationships within a matrix organization and scoping a range of operational, tech and people orientated projects from the ground up.
This is an individual contributor role but you will partner to deliver project execution and analytical insights. To do so, it will be necessary to foster strong relationships with HR and Operational teams as primary customers and partner with WW product owners and stakeholders in order to deliver critical projects from concept to execution. We are looking for an individual with experience in successfully delivering E2E large-scale complex change projects under short timelines involving a high level of ambiguity. The successful candidate will require strong analytical skills, proven project management experience, along with excellent communication skills and an appreciation of ‘grass roots’ operations and you must be able to operate within a fast paced growth environment. The role is based virtually; however, there may be a requirement to travel once COVID-19 restrictions permit.
Key Responsibilities will include:
· Translating business goals into tangible action plans that improve organizational objectives
· Use data to deploy programs that ensure a high level of employee engagement and monitor the ‘pulse’ of employees
· Write updates and papers scoping new project initiatives, contribute to full communication cadence (WBR, MBRs) and edit project updates
· Strong project management and analytical skills; ability to lead projects at a network level to influence and obtain buy-in, drive execution and put in place mechanisms to monitor success.
· Natural ability to insist on the highest standards and continually show thought leadership in how to raise the bar in developing processes that improve day to day execution for customers
· Ability to take decisions and lead in a highly ambiguous environment
· Spot opportunities for continuous improvement, improve standard operating methods
· Implement culture change program of works to support project execution
· Translate complicated technology deployment projects into simple actions
· Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
· The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver results

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree
· Fluency in English with exceptional verbal and written communication
· Proven track record in running large-scale, multi-function projects and programs across the full project lifecycle – from concept to implementation
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to make data based decisions
· People who are naturally customer obsessed,
· Deadline-driven action oriented mind-set, with ‘roll up the sleeves’ attitude - ability to deliver under tight time constraints
· Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization
· Experience with MS Office tools
· Able to logically scope complex projects (occasionally technology focused) and distil into simple solutions or actions
· MBA Degree or Masters in HR related field
· Experience as a people leader, with a focus on hiring and developing the best talent
· Experience deploying technological process improvement in a HR or Operational environment
