Job Description

  • Deliver HR services that meet quality standards established by best practices, company policy, and internal customers.
  • Act as advisor and provide technical expertise on HR issues to staff and Management within the State of Colorado.
  • Resolve employee relations issues in a timely manner; provide coaching to all parties and recommend appropriate actions.
  • This includes interpreting and administering policies, conducting investigations and managing claims.
  • Respond to employee complaints and conduct harassment investigations.
  • Assist Benefits Administrator with administration of company benefits.
  • Oversight of leave administration including FMLA, ADA.
  • Manage unemployment claims.
  • Ensure compliance with all state laws and corporate policies/processes.
  • Ensure employee records and files are kept in accordance with internal and external compliance
  • Help drive employee development through education, training and coaching.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Job duties may be modified at any time.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in HR or a closely related discipline or experience required.
  • A minimum of 2 years in HR experience with at least 1 year of direct employee relations responsibility.
  • Must have a proven track record of investigating high sensitive/complex HR issues including misconduct, favouritism, discrimination, harassment and work place violence.
  • Experience working in a corporate or customer service-oriented environment is required.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and attain an airport badge.
