Job Description

The Job 

  • Develop effective working relationships, influencing and challenging the senior management on development and delivery of their people plans to support the business 
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for staff and business leaders on HR functions and processes (rewards and recognition, talent management, performance management, career development, benefits, compensation, recruitment, payroll, employee relations, HR policy and administrative related), problem resolution and escalation of issues 
  • Responsible to maintain healthy relationships across the business, conduct regular meetings with the divisions / Portfolios builds and develop trusted relationships with the various departmental leaders 
  • Responsible to be the driving force of the group's value system, culture and code of ethics by ensuring interests of the group are achieved . 
  • Through collaboration with business managers, seek to improve Business performance through optimising organisation structure and map processes / communication flows to ensure that structural change is effectively managed 
  • Assist with organizational design and job evaluation efforts as needed to ensure that all positions and organization structures are aligned with business objectives and desired outcomes including promotions and job titles 
  • Work with business units to assess the current and future resource and talent levels across the units and determine short, medium and long-term manpower planning 
  • Partner with talent acquisition on identifying and attracting talent for open positions and with business leaders on selection criteria, process and onboarding practices 
  • Work with mangers to develop learning and talent development plans to close key gaps for their area that align with the company learning and talent development plan and priorities with L&D unit and Talent Unit 
  • Work with respective business managers to swiftly resolve individual performance/capability issues using appropriate tools such as improvement plans 
  • Design and run internal projects in conjunction with HR Team to drive employee engagement across the business


The Person 

  • Possess a degree or diploma in Human Resource Management and / or equivalent Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management from a recognized university 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position 
  • Excellent written /verbal communication, presentation & report writing skills. Should be IT literate 
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships within HR and the rest of the business units 
  • Should have an outgoing personality, willing to go the extra mile and be a team player 
  • Excellent teamworking, interpersonal and communication skills
