A Housekeeper is needed by a small family in Paradise Island, Bahamas to help maintain their household and cook healthy, nutritious meals for the family. The family has only 1 child and is very passionate about healthy cooking (using organic, natural foods!). This is a FULL-TIME, permanent position. Qualifications:• Lives in or willing to relocate to the Bahamas• Previous experience as housekeeper and chef in a private household (at least 4+ years)• English-speaking (FLUENT ENGLISH is mandatory!)• Basic cooking skills (salads, sandwiches, etc)• Willingness to learn and take classes regularly (eg. classes in nutrition, healthy cleaning products, organic cooking, etc.)• Knowledge of how to care and clean for delicate surfaces and finishes• Very strong work ethic, and be happy to support and accommodate the family• Must take huge pride in their work and be happy taking full responsibility for the home

Responsible for:

• All basic housekeeping duties, including laundry and ironing/pressing clothing; Tidying up all rooms of the house daily; Cleaning the kitchen/dishwashing; making the beds and cleaning bedsheets, etc.• Preparing healthy meals for the family• Grocery shopping for healthy food ingredients and spices• Receiving packages to the house and answering the door for guests;• Running general errands when necessary• The family would like the housekeeper to start in December of 2022 or January 2023.
