We are currently seeking a Communications Lead to work with the senior leaders for Delivery, Strategy & Product, Consulting & Transformation and Business Development, the Head of Communications, and the People team, to deliver communications to in the Public Service division that will increase the engagement, retention and pride of our people.
It’s an exciting time to join our division. This is a brand-new role, part of the Corporate Affairs and Marketing function supporting a brand-new division – Public Service – which brings together capabilities from across Capita, to improve productivity for Government clients and improve citizen experience.
We have recently moved to a matrix operating model, so the successful candidate will be working with multiple stakeholders, including the market sector communications leads, to design and deliver the scope of communications for our horizontals which comprise Delivery, Strategy & Product, Consulting & Transformation and Business Development.
Reporting to the Head of Communications you will work across all parties to produce creative, engaging and professional communications that meet the requirements of colleagues in these areas.
You will be part of a team of supportive, passionate, creative communications professionals who will help you to develop your skills and learn new ones. What you’ll be doing:
· Scope and deliver communications outputs to support employee engagement and communications across Delivery, Strategy & Product, Consulting & Transformation and Business Development in the Public Service division
· Develop and deliver operational communications to the right audiences at the right time via the right channel
· Work with the senior leadership teams in comprise Delivery, Strategy & Product, Consulting & Transformation and Business Development to develop, create and coordinate delivery of communications channels to drive engagement
· Nurture and develop colleagues’ affinity to the professions they are aligned to and to complement the sense of belonging they feel to the Market Sector, contracts and businesses they serve
· Work with the Head of Communications and Sector comms leads to ensure the effective rollout of divisional employee engagement initiatives to colleagues
· Roll out Group and Divisional communications through an efficient and effective cascade
What we’re looking for:
· Solid communications experience
· Comfortable working with a blank slate
· A trusted, influential, resilient and motivating communications professional
· Self-starter with strong understanding of communications principles
· Experience managing senior internal stakeholders
· Excellent verbal and written communications experience
· Poppulo and Microsoft Teams / Teams Live experience beneficial
· Agile, resilient, ability to deliver to tight deadlines
