Summary

We’re looking for a Holidays Manager to join our team here at Kingston Lacy.

Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week

Contract: This is a Permanent role.

Salary: Â£28,400 per annum

Internally you'll be known as Holidays Operation Manager

What you'll be doing

You'll work with the Area Manager and General Managers to operate Campsites across Wiltshire and Dorset.

Across the Scouting, Guiding and public camping on Brownsea Island, popup Glamping and the 12 months a year 5 pitch caravan sites, you’ll be working to ensure a safe, profitable and sustainable business. Engaging people in the NT’s outdoors offer and helping people relax, unwind and engage in nature and with our conservation work.

Your role will involve ensuring that the systems and processes are understood and delivered as well as face-to-face interactions such as welcome and orientation, guest service, processing online bookings and some Retail and F&B service from the Campsite shop. A positive can-do attitude is a must in the varying world of Campsites and in return, there is an opportunity to propose, assist or lead on Outdoor activity initiatives provided by the National Trust and Partners.

Who we're looking for

  • Experience in an operationally focused role
  • Experience in leading and inspiring a team to an agreed set of results, contributing to their understanding and development
  • Experience understanding and delivering customer needs and delivering a culture of excellent customer service in the hospitality industry
  • Ability to deliver results through successful cost control balanced with quality and to deadlines
  • Experience and skills in managing operational budgets
  • Experience of developing communications at all levels
  • Full clean UK Driving licence
