Summary

As a Holiday Cottage Cleaner, this role could not be more important in ensuring our guests are provided with the perfect stay from the moment they arrive. You will be joining a small but excellent team to deliver this.

Hours: The role is hourly paid and whenever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern. Shifts last between 2.5 hours and 6 hours on average. With all year-round work, the regular changeover days do not always fall on the same days but there will be some Saturday work required. Mondays and Fridays are a popular day for changeovers with this particular property. Flexibility will therefore be required. The role is advertised as fixed term but there is opportunity to have this extended.

Salary: Â£8.91 per hour

Duration: Fixed-term until 31 March 2023

Internally you will be known as 'Holidays Operation Assistant'

This role will involve cleaning and preparing to a high standard at Thorington Hall and Thorington Lodge along with the rest of the team.

There is also a possibility of work at other cottages we manage in surrounding areas on a cover basis if you are interested. As our cottages are often remote you would need your own transport.

What you'll be doing

It’s the details that make you a brilliant cleaner.

On changeover days you will prepare the cottages in readiness for guests to arrive, ensuring that you clean throughout to the highest standard including making up all beds. We also like you to keep an eye out for any repairs or odd jobs that need doing and report these in time for them to be fixed prior to guest arrival.
