We are currently looking for a HBCU Program Coordinator- someone to build relationships with existing schools and strengthen the relationships with current schools.
This position could include up to 25% travel and will have a hybrid schedule!
Position Summary:
The HBCU Program Coordinator role is a professional role that combines administrative, consultative, influencing and advocacy skills to build robust division based partnerships with a select number of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, building mutually beneficial relationships in order to find and attract top active, passive and diverse talent. The coordinator will collaborate with Division teams to build brand and name recognition within HBCUs to attract potential candidates from underutilized sources of underrepresented communities. Through strong collaboration with select HBCU Administration Teams, Division Leadership, Divisional HBCU Core team and HR Business Partners, this individual will organize and execute a wide range of activities designed to engage, develop and recruit top talent within the HBCU network.
Essential Functions:
Develops strategy for establishing relationships with HBCUs and other programs where underrepresented talent can be found.
Coordinate with Division HBCU Core Teams to build and implement strategies for each individual HBCU relationship
Facilitate communication between Divisions and Home Office regarding HBCU programs
Sources HBCU relationships using advanced techniques through various tools, including databases, web searching, and networking
Partners with Home Office to facilitate brand building campaigns at HBCUs in traditional and social media channels
Acts as a liaison with resources at Colleges, Universities and Division Core Teams.
Actively captures and shares learnings from each engagement
Pipeline Development:
Researches market conditions to influence search tactics and stakeholder communication
Leads project-related requests for large workforce challenges, including new facilities or functional teams; evaluates recruitment conditions, hiring trends and overall market intelligence as related to HBCUs
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
College degree required
Must be willing to travel 25% of the time
Experience developing programs a plus
Comfort with ambiguity a must!
