Hours of work

37.5 hours per week

Week 1 - 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday

Week 2 - 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday

Saturday overtime every other week 8am to 4pm

We pay a 15% shift allowance for alternating shifts.

OTE earnings around £42 000

John Lewis Partnership Commercial Vehicle Technicians are the lifeblood of our logistics network. Without them, our shelves would be empty and our customers disappointed. Our Vehicle Technicians are encouraged to manage their own time, while being proactive to ensure our Commercial Fleet is maintained.

What you'll be doing:

• Servicing and repairing any of our Commercial Vehicles

• Ensuring relevant sections of all inspection/service and defect sheets are completed in compliance with our ‘O’ Licence obligations

• Maintaining a compliant and safe working environment

• Assisting in specific duties and projects as directed

What you'll need:
To land this role as a Commercial Vehicle Technician you will need a City and Guilds 1,2,3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualification, and a proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs.

What else you could bring:

- LGV C+E driving licence
- Good interpersonal and IT skills
- DCPC Card
