Job Description:
Due to continuing growth a vacancy has arisen for a Health Safety and Compliance Manager within our Blackburn office. The successful candidate will join long established multi-disciplinary teams.
The workload will be varied and will cover a multitude of sectors, with particular focus on the Healthcare sector .
What you will be doing:;
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary Capita team
Carry out site surveys, and report on Health Safety and Compliance matters
Review and report on Health Safety and strategies
Carry out service reviews across Estates teams and make recommendations
Liaise with clients, contractors & other consultants (internal and external)

What we’re looking for:
Experience of working within a Health Safety and Compliance role
Strong working knowledge of the Premise Assurance Model
Strong awareness of HTM’s and relevant Health Safety and compliance legislation
Experience of working within Healthcare or a similar complex organisation
Ability to establish a good working relationship with clients and colleagues including enforcing authorities
Represent Capita in meetings with the client and other external stakeholders
Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Good written verbal communication skills and experience of report writing for different levels within an organisation.
Ability to communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience
Commitment to CPD within the role
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to demonstrate flexible approach to work and willingness to travel/stay away from home for short periods as may be required.

This role is Blackburn based however travel would be client dependent across the Northwest and potentially national on occasion.
