Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Head of Global Performance and Reward Consulting, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Role Purpose

The Head of Global Performance and Reward Consulting will be responsible for managing strategic change projects and team strategy for the Global Performance and Reward team (the “team”).

The role will be reporting to and ultimately accountable to the Head of Performance and Reward for Global Businesses, Functions and Digital Business Services (DBS).

In this role, you will:

  • Manage large strategic change projects by working closely with the SMEs in the team who are ultimately accountable for the delivery
  • Understand market and best in class practice - being connected to external market developments and trends
  • Use personal judgment and experience to shape change proposals; demonstrating an understanding of internal and external best practice.
  • Ensure the design and development of specialist products are aligned to the overall Group Strategy, drive efficiency and add commercial value through these activities
  • Provide focus on how the team change portfolio aligns to the HR / Business Strategy
  • Plan, organise and manage the network of related activities and resources that deliver the successful completion of change projects. Support teams to understand, prepare and present large strategic change paperwork at all relevant forums
  • Support the business aligned team members, specifically with BAU delivery of the pay review calendar and any specific agreed projects, ensuring where ever possible that the work is scalable and repeatable
  • Access, mobilise and deploy specialist and other resources to deliver technical expertise

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Key Capabilities - Change Management, Consulting Agility, Business Impact, Relationship and Consultancy, Functional Expertise                             
  • Experienced leader who challenges the status quo
  • Proven track record of successfully leading both design and implementation of complex reward / Human Resources (HR) initiatives and projects especially those involving digitisation
  • Ability to navigate complex matrix organisational structures across different cultures
  • Knowledge of Reward / Benefits practices in global organisations
  • Experience working with global providers such as Computershare, Deloitte, KPMG, Aon and Darwin
  • Strong social skills, confident and ability to work at all levels within a global business environment - ability to deal assertively but sensitively with varied internal and external stakeholders across a matrix environment
  • Highly developed presentation, connection and interpersonal skills
