Job Description

Now is the time to join TUI as we accelerate our major Transformation programme and launch our search for a Holiday Product Lead across TUI Markets. You will be accountable for designing the end to end business processes and establishing the technology requirements and plan for Ancillaries Product to support and drive this change on behalf of the markets, to deliver the capabilities required to support the strategy of the Ancillaries Holiday Product. 

 This a great opportunity to join a community of innovative and passionate people, who are driving the development, operation and ongoing evolution of holiday platforms that enable us to harness diverse and digital mechanisms for sourcing holiday components and packaging these components into products which make our customer’s lives easy.

This role can be based in any of our main TUI Offices in Europe and offers flexible working options.  We will be taking applications until Friday 4th February 2022 and please note this is a 12-month FTC.

 

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Starting with the strategy set by the Central Markets Ancillaries team you will be responsible for turning this into a prioritised roadmap which is aligned to the overall Markets Ancillaries 3 year plans  and seeks to maximise business value for TUI and our customers. 
  • Balance the demand between regional needs, set the scope of any changes, and where required, be responsible for making trade-offs based on data driven insight to ensure we hit the dates and achieve the stated benefits and objectives. 
  • Stay close to the commercial and operational performance of the products to ensure you understand where things can be improved across markets and to ensure existing capabilities are fully utilised.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all people, process and technology changes required to support the successful delivery of your roadmap are understood, fully considered and that plans are in place to ensure changes are aligned to support new capabilities being introduced. 
  • Working with your fellow Holiday Product Leads you will ensure that there is alignment on shared processes and capabilities between Holiday Products. You will also work closely with the Regional Transformation Leads to ensure successful implementation of changes within their markets.
  • A key part of your responsibilities will be to ensure the customer experience is joined up end to end and that this is continuously improved.
  • You will work across all markets, Central Markets Ancillaries and functions to ensure that the relevant stakeholders input into future changes and are informed where there may be impacts in their function 

 

ABOUT YOU

  • An exceptional and proven Leader with experience of driving and delivering change projects and/or improvements across business areas 
  • Very broad understanding of the travel business model and processes within at least one region/market(s) – experience across multiple markets desirable 
  • Self-motivated and resilient leader who takes the initiative and works collaboratively with a track record of leading, coaching and developing people
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance with customer experience considerations  
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with strong presentation skills. Proven ability to influence, challenge, engage, negotiate and inspire team members, peers and stake-holders at all levels  
  • Strong decision maker, with ability to think commercially and strategically and demonstrate that projects are economically viable
  • The role requires strong business English (written & spoken). Other local language skills covering TUI’s market(s) would also be useful.  (e.g. French, German).
