Job Description
The Customer Marketing Team is part of the Global Marketing team at ASOS, working across all of our owned channels to engage with our 20-somethings and ensure ASOS stays front of mind, and drive forward the ASOS Brand in different markets. We are responsible for ensuring that our customers see the best of our trading activity, retail priorities and trends, relevant propositions – all through a market-relevant lens.
The Role:
Head of Marketing for the US will lead the strategy and execution of the Marketing across all channels for the US market. This position will pay a pivotal role in defining a strategy to drive sales and grow our active customer based in the US. You will lead efforts to build end-to-end plans with compelling propositions and marketing initiatives to deliver against global trading plans, and finding new opportunities to grow ASOS as a brand within the market.
We are looking for a customer-centric, detail oriented, data-driven, pragmatic strategic thinker who is inquisitive and ensures the quality and delivery of our customer messaging is of the highest standard.
Responsibilities
What you'll be doing...
- This role reports into the Head of Customer Marketing with high autonomy to lead on strategy and owning the go-to-market plan
- Work closely with the US Head of Trade to understand the Global stance of the business and ensure the localised marketing activity supports the market’s objectives
- Develop a Customer Calendar relevant for the US market and execute activation of customers in line with the plan using Media budget and Creative Lab support
- Own the full customer journey from identifying opportunities to drive awareness, consideration, engagement and retention
- Develop effective marketing initiatives and providing evaluation of their effectiveness
- Lead and from end-to-end including insights, messaging, channel plans and post campaign analysis
- Collaborate and influence multiple cross-functional teams, with key stakeholders being Leadership teams, Global Commerce, Proposition Managers and Marketing Channel Owner
- Work cross-functionally with Proposition Managers, Payment Teams and Delivery Solution, to ensure all market relevant content is surfaced to customers in the best way
- Align with Brand Management to ensure Market information is considered in any strategic plans

Skills
- Experience of developing, executing and maintaining marketing in the US (retail or consumer facing industry)
- A self-starter with very strong sense of ownership and autonomy
- Experience of pragmatic application of strategic marketing principles and consumer insights
- Passionate and driven individual, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm for marketing
- Proactive and results-focused, data-driven
- Excellent management and communication skills, able to prioritise effectively and manage multiple stakeholders
- Interpersonal skills to establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Confident, personable and a team player – but also able to work effectively on solo projects
- Fantastic attention to detail and able to manage multiple activities at once
