Engaging our learners as a Curriculum Lead at Capita Learning:

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Curriculum Lead to join our fast paced and busy team working within Capita Learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design of highly engaging learning solutions that develop the required knowledge, skills, and behaviour of the.

This role will lead and manage the development of learner focused curricula for the Royal Navy, in the context of our overall offer across apprenticeships.

You will be responsible for identifying strategic and tactical priorities aligning the core learning interventions with business and development needs for apprenticeships.

The role will be working alongside the quality, operational and client teams, managing a team of curriculum leads across the various subject areas.

This role is a one year fixed term contract.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the development of a curriculum portfolio providing a structured quality assured approach to the delivery of apprenticeships to enable learner to achieve their programmes timely

• You will be responsible for the analysis and improvement of learning products and services and how they are delivered to our apprentices. This is to be based on a regular appraisal of the products, competitor analysis, user feedback, data analytics and business need.

• Be proactive in engaging with and working with key stakeholders to develop term curriculum planning for the organisation and their programme requirements.

• Ensure the day-to-day development of the curriculum portfolio, ensuring it is consistent with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and supports Capita’s strategic objectives and intent.

• Actively promote Capita’s expertise in learning, drawing on best practice from the latest developments in learning and development, and pushing boundaries for new learning techniques, particularly in digital learning.

• To constantly review the range of opportunities, making recommendations to ensure our programmes are aligned with learners’ needs, wider opportunities and business requirements

• Be experimental, innovative and evidence-based in your approach to curriculum design

What we are looking for:

• Experience of working in curriculum design and implementation

• Experience of working with awarding bodies, EPAO’s and Ofsted requirements

• Experience of working in Apprenticeships

• Previous experience of working with MoD

• Experience in producing inspirational learning content particularly e-learning & digital delivery

• Experience of working closely with internal and external customers and stakeholders to build trust across teams and organisations

• Teaching qualifications desirable
