An exciting job opportunity is available for you to join as Head of Corporate Risk in the Strategic Resilience, Risk and Safety team on a 2-year fixed term contract with possibility of extension and or permanency.
Working within this team, this post will focus on the provision of subject matter expertise for risk and leading as the head of profession within the House of Commons. This will also include improving risk maturity, alongside ownership of risk reporting.
The post holder will work closely with the heads of function for resilience and safety in delivering an effective risk management approach within an organisational resilience model.
You will report to the Director of Strategic Business Resilience and will be a member of the senior leadership team.
Experience of leading the implementation and review of risk management frameworks and developing organisational risk maturity.
Experience of managing change and building Stakeholder relationships
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships and influence people at all levels within the organisation including a challenging customer base.
Proven ability to provide leadership, set strategic objectives, develop and motivate teams to deliver results across formal reporting lines.
Experience of building team capability.
Analyse and decision-making skills with an ability to think strategically, anticipating and managing high-level risks and uncertainties.
