Job Description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Head Of Community Energy to be based at home with travel to Kings Yard, London EH15 2HG. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

A senior role within the Urban Energy sector, the Head of Community Energy has overall responsibility for general management, including customer service, operational and financial performance, of our Community Energy schemes and metering and billing service delivery throughout the UK.

 What will you deliver? 

  • Best-in-class customer service, driving and improving operational and financial performance including the customer helpdesk and residential metering and billing for our community energy contracts

  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with our key internal and external stakeholders and partners including other teams; developers, local authority, Housing Association, suppliers, and business partners.

  • Supporting the business development and commercial teams developing and tendering new business opportunities

  • Financial metrics associated with metering and billing including invoicing and bad debt management

 Who are we looking for?

  • Management of a customer helpdesk with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels

  • Experience of residential metering and billing including data protection, community energy / residential heat supply

  • Excellent attention to details and understanding of risk

  • Collaborative and an effective team player  with the ability to be adaptable and influential in diverse environments
