THE TEAM
The Delivery Solutions team (or DelSol as we like to call them) is a local team in Berlin that keeps growing. They take care of all actions and issues concerning logistics in continental Europe – not only Germany. There are two other teams in Berlin you work closely with, which are Logistics (Operations) and Returns. Those three teams report to the Supply Chain Director Europe.
The office is located in Grossbeeren, just south of Berlin. You can reach us via train (RE4 – 22min from Hauptbahnhof Berlin) or bus (711 / M11 / X11) or by car.
The Role:
The role of the Head of Carrier Management takes responsibility for three main columns: Your team actively manages carriers like DHL, Hermes or UPS for continental Europe. Carrier meetings, business reviews, forecasting and troubleshooting are part of daily business. You onboard new carriers and always look for better solutions for our customers. As we are responsible for whole continental Europe, you have the chance to grow your network and meet many different key players in the European carrier network. Secondly, you partner with ASOS UK to align our strategies and share best practices. You work closely with ASOS Tech. Thirdly you make sure that our 3PL partner provides the required service to ensure a good customer experience and minimize disruption.
