Job Responsibilities:

• To ensure performance to plan by coordinating with all connected departments including marketing, planning, engineering and supply chain. 
• Prompt root cause analysis for failures in performance and report to the higher management at the daily operational meeting. 
• Strategizing to ensure full capacity operation and eliminate idle time. Ensure preventive/predictive machinery maintenance to achieve minimum down-time KPIs. 
• To guide, train and assist people to understand the purpose of their job. 
• Maintaining discipline and ensure the adherence of health and safety procedures.

Candidate Profile:

• A graduate in Engineering or in Textile or in Chemistry from a recognized university.
• Experience in a production environment at a senior management level. 
• A good planner to ensure KPIs are achieved with allowances for contingencies. 
• Knowledge in fabric dyeing and finishing will be a distinct advantage. 
• Experience in engagement with customers at all levels will be an advantage. 
• Communication skills, especially in Sinhalese will be advantageous in the production environment 
• Honesty and integrity in all actions should be natural to build trust amongst all. 
• Hardworking, ability to work long hours will be needed.
