Job Summary:

The Festival Food and Beverage GEM leads the daily F&B operation with an important focus on encouraging an inclusive environment supporting the delivery of the Five Keys Basics and modeling the Disney Leader Basics. You will be both a leader and teacher of excellence in safety, courtesy, show, efficiency, and inclusion to Cast at all levels. You will foster a culture of safety and support, to achieve and sustain the vision that inspires Guest service. You will report to the Festival Line of Business Proprietor.

Responsibilities:

You Will:

• Develop and educate Festival Cast by providing or through daily leadership
• Partner with Festival Chef Team to maintain all standards and provide unified daily leadership
• Inspire and motivate Festival Cast to create world class guest experiences
• Ensure daily food and beverage quality and consistency is completed
• Oversee daily labor use
• Manage Cast Member conflicts and concerns through coaching and discussion
• Participate in Festival media events

Basic Qualifications:

You Have:

• 3+ years of Walt Disney World® Resort salaried leadership experience
• Passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion inviting diverse perspectives, promoting an inclusive work environment
• Ability in building relationships with trust
• Understanding of timelines
• In event mode, required job responsibilities can be physically demanding, outside in the environment and sometimes in inclement weather
• Fast-paced outdoor environment
• Demonstrated strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work weekends and nights
• Full availability required as events occur

Required Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
