Partner with the best

As a Growth Marketing Manager, you will drive and advance Baker Hughes’ marketing activity in energy and industrial decarbonization. This is a multi-faceted role that will work with the commercial organization, communications and marketing teams to develop marketing content to support our growth areas. You will develop messaging, support the creation of customer content, and campaigns.  You will be critical to ensuring we understand and represent the voice of the customer in our campaign content development and will partner with commercial leaders to share insights and report on campaign performance. On top of marketing communications experience, we’re looking for someone who has a passion for storytelling, enjoys making the complex…simple, and thrives in fast-paced, blended roles that require strategic thinking and an execution mind-set.

As a Growth Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Develop compelling narratives to support key accounts and energy transition growth areas, including Carbon Capture and Storage, Hydrogen, and other carbon abatement technologies and strategies
• Partner with commercial teams to develop content that supports customer engagement, including customer pitch presentations and digital marketing campaigns
• Be a knowledge center on new sectors, track content operations to support our growth into new entry areas.
• Work with internal teams to analyze data and ensure key internal audiences are able to better understand new industry sectors, customer needs, and effectiveness of our marketing strategies, and take specific actions to improve and track outcomes.
• Analyze and synthesize material to develop actionable insights around our key growth sectors and segments.
• Support in the management of the ‘voice of customer’ – providing deep understanding of customer ambitions and pain points.
• Ensure critical marketing assets reflect our messaging, latest innovations and announcements.
• Collaborate across functions to build marketing processes and systems to drive best in class execution.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Excellent writer, powerpoint power user, with a knack for writing messages people understand and absorb.
• Able to deliver as part of a matrixed team, ability to show and communicate the effectiveness of the work.
• Creative capabilities with basic understanding of design
• Understand how to be a strong partner to commercial teams
• Hands-on, natural leadership and the demeanor, business maturity, intellect and integrity required to establish credibility with partners and business leaders
• Execution oriented with a collaborative mind-set
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in business administration, journalism, marketing or communications
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing or communications
• Strong skills to convey complicated concepts in innovative ways
• Strong presentation skills, and expert use of PowerPoint and design
• Effective project management skills incl. the capability to define goals, develops plans and progress/success measurement
• Strong commercial acumen
