The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a disciplined and driven self-starter to join our Regional Growth Analyst Team.  As the Regional Senior Growth Analyst, you would work with Sales Account Executives and customer to identify and create strategies to grow customer categories and P&G sales. The primary focus will be delivering the biggest distribution, shelf, and new item opportunities across our 16 largest regional food retailers for the Baby Care category. You would also help analyze promotional effectiveness. Senior Growth Analysts leverage multiple data sources, category expertise, compelling story telling skills, and superior analytics & insights to establish themselves as the trusted resource for account handlers and retailers. 

As a Senior Sales Growth Analyst, you will:

  • Develop and lead key category reviews and assortment recommendations for Baby Care.
  • Lead brilliant shelf work, including optimizing planograms and implementing shopper-based shelving principles.
  • Uncover P&G and customer growth opportunities and distribution gaps via granular analytics.
  • Collaborate with customer sales teams and customers to drive retailer category growth.
  • Use analytical tools and integrate various data systems to develop new category insights and create compelling selling stories.
  • Lead retailer category management discussions where applicable in partnership with Account Handlers.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Can leverage data analytics and diverse data sources to identify new category insights and business opportunities for P&G and its strategic customers
  • Can create selling strategies and stories for insights and strategies
  • Has strategic customer relationship building skills and would thrive selling our products to large regional retailers
  • Enjoys problem solving
  • Can prioritize largest opportunities
  • Is comfortable working with multiple account handlers and customers
  • Has experience working with Key Category Management Tools (i.e., ProSpace/JDA, PowerBI, Excel, Nielsen, etc.)

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of relevant CPG Sales or customer business development experience
  • Strong Analytical, Collaboration, Flexibility/Agility, Selling & Influencing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Be willing to relocate immediately to Cincinnati, Orlando, Boston, Charlotte, Clark New Jersey, Grand Rapids MI, or Minneapolis and throughout a career
  • Have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel on the job

Preferred:

  • Experience with Key Category Management Tools (i.e., ProSpace/JDA, PowerBI, Excel, Nielsen, etc.)
