ABOUT THE ROLE

 

  • You will support the local paid search teams as the resident expert and evangelist for all paid search activities. You will be responsible for developing initiatives to empower local search marketing teams to reach their objectives, coordinating a PPC centre of excellence around key attributes of digital development and maturity. 
  • Set a strategy for PPC maturity across all local marketing, as well as ensuring adherence to the roadmap for growth on an ongoing basis. 
  • Partner with TUI’s local markets to define and share best practice across the Group. This includes for example providing ongoing assessment of market maturity with recommendations for improvement.
  • You will drive the adoption of a common Digital Marketing maturity framework across the Group, as well as involving directly smaller companies in the Group and our JV partners.
  • Furthermore you will develop a consistent reporting framework and produce regular performance reporting for your channel, both at local as well as Group consolidated level. To achieve this, you will establish a shared KPI framework and deploy the consolidation of SA360 naming convention across all local teams.
  • On a regular basis you will be meeting with vendors and assessing new vendor or partner opportunities. 
  • Moreover, you will set up and run regular networking for Paid Search Marketing teams across the Group, via regular calls, MS Teams moderation, workshops and master classes.
  • You’ll also work closely with the local Digital Marketing teams, local market Media Agencies as well as key media owner and tech vendors such as Google, Facebook and Adobe.

 

ABOUT YOU

 

  • Strong experience of search marketing in a large multinational company
  • International experience and/or high awareness of how purchase behaviour & marketing tactics differ across markets
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing technology, particularly bid management tools, programmatic platforms & social advertising technology
  • Google Adwords qualified as well as good knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform Stack
  • Good knowledge of the European online Travel space
  • Understanding of and keen interest in global digital marketing trends
  • Strong academic background with high commercial acumen
  • Analytical skills: able to analyse raw data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations as needed
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills & ability to build relationships with remote teams
  • Excellent communication skills and strong ability to present and lead meetings
  • Prior experience of working with cross-functional, remote or international teams
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and with a high degree of autonomy
