Then this role might be for you. We are looking for a Group Director to drive the future of our partnership with Amazon. This role will work with Amazon on behalf of the Coca-Cola System. Responsible for delivery of the annual business plan metrics. This position has high amount of executive level interaction, engagement and stewardship with Amazon and Coca-Cola Sr. Leadership. This role will lead, coach, and mentor their organization on strategic business planning, building customer engagement capabilities that drive beverage category incidence and sustainable business growth.

This role leads our partnership with Amazon across multiple functions including commercial, customer, advertising, media, and franchise. Amazon represents a multi-faceted opportunity that requires us to transform the way we think about customer relationships beyond retail. Amazon serves as an advertising platform, a supply chain intermediary, and global distributor of our products, they influence the entire retail landscape and our business decisions with Amazon serve as a marker for how an entire industry drives digital transformation.

Position Purpose

Management responsibility for Beverage Category across Amazon and all divisions as well as Analyst support while leading cross functional partners, Warehouse Route to Market and System Bottlers to deliver the business plan.

Drives organizational alignment and commitment against Company vision, strategy and priorities

Leads organizational change by creating a clear vision of the future business requirements

Expert competencies in influencing/negotiation, innovative business development, stewardship, building a long-term strategic customer plan and delivering results

Drives new category, product and package penetration, high level of collaboration with Bottling System, RGM, Brands, and Warehouse Teams

Translate Knowledge of Consumer, Customer & Price Package Planning into Innovative Business Solutions through value propositions utilizing Collaborating for Value

Expert understanding of our system economic and value chain model to deliver a favorable financial sales strategy

Strong ability to utilize and lead cross functional partners to advance our position with Amazon

Primary Responsibilities

Conduct regular business reviews with customers in order to monitor relationship, re-affirm strategies linked to needs and steward the business, operational and/or personal value created for the customer by The Coca-Cola Company.

Build business plan/solution and contingency plan in collaboration with the customer and brand/commercial using information collected during the account discover process to ensure plan meets customer needs.

Lead our bottling system in value creation for Amazon 

Lead associates.  Provide direct reports with leadership, direction and coaching to achieve work objectives, seek outcomes over outputs, and contribute to their growth, development, and satisfaction in this and future roles.

Create and execute Annual Business Plan for specific customer in order to monitor relationship, re-affirm strategies linked to needs and steward the business.

Coordinates the development of strategic omnichannel marketing and merchandising plans and campaigns, aligning schedules, projects, budgets, and resources to meet expected results while driving OI and profitability goals

Drives best practices for eCommerce opportunities, processes, and tools through continuous learning, keeping abreast of eCommerce trends and innovation.

Provides accurate forecasting of eCommerce Amazon initiatives to Senior Management.

Drives the development of and manages analytics of sales, revenue, and profitability metrics by-business line; marketing tactics and campaign performance; customer financials; bottler and warehouse operations metrics.

Selects eCommerce vendors, negotiates contracts and manages vendor relationships.

Leads and develops multi-functional business team inclusive of sales, brand, eCommerce marketing, RGM, finance, supply chain, and more depending on evolving shopper and customer needs

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline strongly preferred. An advanced degree is desired but is not required.

2-5 years in an online, B2C eCommerce/Omnichannel environment; 4+ years of P&L accountability, +10 years of strategic account management

5+ years of people leadership experience

Demonstrates franchise leadership, and supply chain and franchise leadership capability

Demonstrated track record of developing accurate forecasts and exceeding goals
