Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for the maintenance, repair, upgrade, and appearance of all Ammonia and Freon Refrigeration and environmental equipment in the facilityUsing hand tools to perform maintenance on machinery
- Ensuring food safety and quality
- Cleanliness and housekeeping
- Maintenance of electrical and control circuits associated with refrigeration equipment
- Coil and equipment cleaning
- Maintenance of Evaporative Condenser Units
- Repair and maintenance of Freon condenser and evaporator coils
- Repair/Replace fan motors and fan blades
- Install and repair various valves and other components in ammonia systems
- Use math to document changes in the system levels, pressures, etc.
- Use computer to complete data entry
- Maintaining a safe working environment
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work in a cold to warm environment
- Ability to work with a variety of hand tools
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to perform basic math
- Must pass a respirator fit test and physical
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous production/maintenance/refrigeration experience
- RETA CARO certification
- Previous Cargill experience
- Previous food manufactoring experience
