What you’ll achieve
As a Graphics Architect, you will be responsible for defining and shaping the technical aspects of our video, GPU, and graphics elements of our client PC platforms. This includes add-in graphics cards, onboard GPU designs, as well as integrated graphics and associated technologies. Key responsibilities include being the primary architecture interface to our graphics technology partners (nVidia, AMD, Intel, Parade, Synaptics, etc.) as well as partnering with our platform architecture teams to drive features, technology selection, and key program decisions.

Essential Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and 12+ years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 8+ years relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of graphics-related technologies (GPUs, VRAM, video busses, add-in graphics adapters, DP/HDMI/Type-C/TBT interfaces)
  • Solid understanding of PC architecture and related technologies (PCI-E, x86 architecture, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency to create & analyze functional & design specifications, create block diagrams, architecture requirements, and technical details.
  • Advanced experience with ECAD and electrical design tools (OrCAD, Allegro, etc.) and ability to create basic schematics & PCB layouts


Desirable Requirements

  • Direct working experience with key graphics technologies and partners (nVidia, AMD, Intel, Synaptics, etc.)
  • Direct working experience with key graphics technologies and brands (Quadro, GeForce, Radeon, Radeon Pro, Iris, Iris Pro, etc.)
