we are looking for an experienced Operational Governance specialist who is experienced in:
• Producing Operational Governance packs to support our Governance Forums and Committees in line with our Risk Management Framework for Vodafone Business
• To provide secretariat services for said forums, including MoM, action tracking and scheduling.
• Identification and capturing of Business Risks and ensuring they are , where possible mitigated in line with our Governance Framework and appetite
• To ensure risks are logged and risk owners are held to account to ensure action plans, budgets or tolerances are set and reviewed regularly.
What will you be doing?
• Support the development, management and communication of the risk management framework and requirements across Business
• Embed a risk culture within Business
• Mobilise and implement a risk management process for Business, which will include reporting and tracking of action plans and risks
• Responsible for ensuring risks are updated within the corporate risk management system
• Create and improve Governance Reports / Packs for various Governance Forums and Committees for Business
• Facilitate various Governance Forums and Committees tracking actions and taking minutes
• Attend meetings, effectively communicating decisions arising, and ensuring risks are actively discussed
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure a co-ordinated of risk updates
• Support the management, embedding and the new governance structure and compliance across Business
• Assist in planning & performance of risk assessments
• Reviewing MI on Compliance performance to identify issues for remedial action
Who are we looking for?
• Sound knowledge of FCA Regulations within Financial Services
• Experience of managing risks and adherence to risk frameworks
• Experience of Governance Reporting Conduct and Operational Risk Reporting and Management
• Knowledge of Risk and Compliance Frameworks and practices
• Ability to write clear, simple and relevant reports and risks for use by a variety of stakeholders, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise work effectively, make sound decisions with sometimes limited information
• Superb analytical and research skills
• Ability to analyse/interpret information quickly
• Knowledge of controls and techniques used to meet compliance framework objectives
