The challenge

The Go to Market Strategy team works to advise Adobe’s senior leadership on strategies for improved market success and customer impact across all lines of business and geographies. Our goal is to bring together targeted programs and initiatives with leading operational approaches to deliver high-impact recommendations that help the field team scale and compete. GTM Strategy’s remit includes both the creation of strategy as well as working with the broader organization on scale, global rollout and change management.

The GTM Strategy team is seeking an experienced sales strategy and operations analyst who will bolster our multi-platform analytics environment. By partnering with executive and sales leadership, your insights will advise market strategy for solutions at the very heart of the future of work and groundbreaking digital experiences.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze business performance, synthesizing your findings into recommendations for senior decision makers
  • Employ quantitative methods, data science methodologies, financial impact modeling, and other techniques to support our strategic direction and drive growth
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve reporting & modeling through better automation, collaborating with BI & analytics teams
  • Be part of a high performing team with rich opportunities to develop as an operational leader & analytical problem-solver
  • Learn the Cloud business and develop your network as you collaborate with people across Adobe, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Sales Operations

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS)
  • 3+ years of work experience using business analytics and sales data to make decisions in sales operations, finance, strategy, or management consulting
  • Proven track record of querying and manipulating large datasets to support analysis and decision-making
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, including analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations
  • Expert-level skills with Excel, PowerBI, Tableau
  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling and transformation in joined data sets
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects and able to shift priority as needed while maintaining high quality results
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas both verbally & in writing
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering your best work
  • Curiosity, initiative, and the desire to experiment

Bonus Points

  • Analytics experience in B2B software sales
  • Deep knowledge of the technology industry including direct-to-consumer and/or business-to-business models
  • SQL, MS Analytics, Statistics, or Applied Economics
