The Global TLT Business Partner serves as a trusted partner in the organization and provides financial leadership for the global supply, commercial and R&D teams.  The primary purpose of this role is to partner with technical leadership teams (TLT) in the pursuit of operational excellence, strategic foresight and cost optimization.  Responsibilities include defining and ensuring the delivery of the financial objectives as well as realizing and judging risks and opportunities. This position provides insights on operating results, clarifies key performance indicators for value creation outlook and helps define the long-term value creation plans.   

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.

• 7+ years of business partnering experience

• Technical financial understanding of cost and management accounting systems and processes, capital project evaluation, and analytical techniques.

• Ability to meet deadlines under time constraints.

• Working knowledge of Supply, Commercial, and R&D processes

• General business acumen with demonstrated ability to understand the functional interdependencies

• Ability to motivate others, communicate with all levels of organization and influence decisions throughout the organization.

• Financial Insights and Analysis – Ability to derive critical insights from key performance data, and effectively communicate financial information and insights to the business.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Principal Accountabilities:

Provides business partner support and financial guidance for the global supply, commercial and R&D teams: 

• Contributes to an engaging, high performance learning environment

• Serves as the Finance Business Partner to the VP of Global Commercial, VP of Global Supply and VP of Global R&D:

  • providing financial advice to ensure sound financial and operational decisions

  • support strategy definition and implementation

  • developing and evaluating longer term strategies

  • validate forecasts and investment plans

• Actively partner with global teams to drive performance and meet financial shape commitments.

• Identifying business issues and opportunities and making recommendations for future actions.

• Providing insights and thorough inputs to the operating plan, revised forecasts, and strategic planning cycles for the TLT

• Support in ad-hoc requests for Mars Inc. and MW Snacking
