Job Purpose and Impact

The Global Talent Development Leader will design, implement and monitor our talent management programs and policies, including talent development, succession pipeline and talent solutions. We seek a thought leader to build innovative processes and solutions to achieve talent strategy, focusing on building robust internal and external talent channels, a high-performance environment, manager capability and a culture committed to development and growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Anticipate and plan for long-term talent management needs and trends.
  • Act as a change leader and initiator and effectively utilize change management methodologies to design and deploy talent solutions.
  • Design, implement and monitor Cargill’s Talent Planning process to ensure effectiveness of process, tools, and ensure that we are creating a strong diverse leadership bench for the future.
  • Proactively identify and handle the most complex talent problems that affect the organization objectives.
  • The leader in this role will leverage their consulting skills to work with HR and Business Leaders to understand the business environment, uncover talent related needs and identify solutions to meet those needs.
  • Provide leadership and direction while interacting with senior managers and leadership, leading multidisciplinary projects or initiatives.
  • Actively participate in professional talent management organizations and stays abreast of emerging trends and best practices solutions to determine feasibility for Cargill implementation.
  • Provide expert consultative guidance for initiating strategic long-range goals and objectives. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Human Resources certificate
  • Experience in talent management
