As the Global Supply Planner, you will be a core supply chain team member who is responsible for planning of supply and the execution of that supply plan.Â
Â
As a Global Supply Planner in Oilfield & Industrial Chemicals, you will be responsible for:
Â
Develop short and long term supply plans for manufacturing plants using rough cut capacity planning
Align with a set of global plants on their weekly/monthly supply plan.
Develop an optimized supply plan from provided customer demand and plant cost and capacity and then communicate this through the S&OP process
Monitor KPIs: production conformance to plan, on time delivery, inventory turns
Work with the sales and operations team to ensure the physical orders conform to the demand plan, highlighting differences
Provide overall planning and guidance for orders/demand, routing to these to the plants
Executing the product line order strategies (allocations) relative to regions and manufacturing plants.
Planning deliveries such that inventory costs are minimized while maintaining customer commitments.
Ensuring orders are appropriately maintained in SAP (aged orders, etc)

To be successful in this role you will:
Â
Bachelor\'s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience (5+ years’ experience)
Highly proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Sharepoint, Teams)
Very good English communication skills
Solid experience in supply planning, inventory management and asset utilization
Have knowledge of SAP (or equivalent ERP) and MRP functionality
Be able to work with and influence stakeholders (sales and manufacturing teams)
Be a strategic thinker with tactical execution with a sense of urgency
APICS CPIM is preferred
We would consider remote working away from the Sugarland office for candidates with very strong experience.
