Ingredion is hiring a Global Supply Network Design Specialist to develop network optimization models that support strategic decisions within the Global Supply Chain leadership group.

As a Global Supply Network Design Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Organize, review, and validate supply chain data, resolving any issues within a team of cross-functional stakeholders
• Develop various network model inputs under guidance of project manager
• Build optimization models in the software tool
• Run and analyze what-if scenarios to evaluate strategic alternatives
• Build output reports using visualization and presentation tools
• Train peers on established methodologies and repeatable processes

The Global Supply Network Design Specialist position is well-suited for you if you:

• Have a good understanding of the various global supply chain trade-offs
• Can abstract real supply chain flows and constraints into an optimization model
• Demonstrate interest in creatively solving supply chain network problems
• Have skills in handling, cleansing, and analyzing big data
• Collaborate as a team member and work well on your own
• Develop and maintain cross-functional communication and relationships

Qualified candidates will have:

• Preferred Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research or equivalent program
• 2+ years of experience working in data analytics, better if related to supply chain
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated skills in working with big relational databases (e.g. SQL, other) and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau / Power BI)
• Experience using network design software such as Supply Chain Strategist or Supply Chain Guru
