Ingredion is hiring a Global Supply Network Design Specialist to develop network optimization models that support strategic decisions within the Global Supply Chain leadership group.
As a Global Supply Network Design Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Organize, review, and validate supply chain data, resolving any issues within a team of cross-functional stakeholders
- Develop various network model inputs under guidance of project manager
- Build optimization models in the software tool
- Run and analyze what-if scenarios to evaluate strategic alternatives
- Build output reports using visualization and presentation tools
- Train peers on established methodologies and repeatable processes
The Global Supply Network Design Specialist position is well-suited for you if you:
- Have a good understanding of the various global supply chain trade-offs
- Can abstract real supply chain flows and constraints into an optimization model
- Demonstrate interest in creatively solving supply chain network problems
- Have skills in handling, cleansing, and analyzing big data
- Collaborate as a team member and work well on your own
- Develop and maintain cross-functional communication and relationships
Qualified candidates will have:
- Preferred Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research or equivalent program
- 2+ years of experience working in data analytics, better if related to supply chain
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated skills in working with big relational databases (e.g. SQL, other) and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau / Power BI)
- Experience using network design software such as Supply Chain Strategist or Supply Chain Guru
