In the context of re-designing the Operating Model for Enterprise planning, the teams is working on establishing new roles, new processes and new capabilities needed to transition currently fragmented Planning into a truly integrated state of the art end to end planning.
The newly established role of Global Supply Capability Leader will be responsible for developing processes and role descriptions for Enterprise Planning functions in scope:
Experience with End to end integrated planning experience or exposure to roles (production planning, materials planning, inventory management, initiatives/ NPD planning, distribution and availability planning, capacity planning, demand planning, etc)
Understanding of the interdependencies between the roles in Supply Chain end to end
Experience in training others, creation of training materials, creation of process flows maps, role descriptions, structures to support capability building
Finished Goods Supply Planning, Factory Scheduling
Materials planning and call-off, Materials Supply Management
Inventory Management, Network Planning
Demand planning
Change Management (NPD, Initiatives management)
Defines processes, sub-processes, tasks of each role in line with newly developed Operating Model.
Develops process descriptions, tasks flow charts for each role in line with newly developed Operating Model.
Defines interfaces with other functions and builds efficient structure to support critical information flow.
Defines critical data that needs to be shared between different functions (in and out flow of information).
Defines drumbeat of interfaces / meetings along with required attendance, information sources, KPIs, outcomes of such interfaces to bring maximum value. Creates templates for meetings, outlines SIPOC.
Links processes, tasks, information flow to specific tools and outlines their functionality.
Creates detailed day-in-a-life (period-in-a-life) for each role in line with new Operating Model.
Creates the training process, defines training order by function, creates training materials, and schedules trainings for all functions.
