Job Description
As a Global Strategic Senior Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Under the leadership of the Global Platform Lead, develops and executes the Growth Platform growth plans
- Develops the Marketing elements of the Global Growth Platform strategy; Develops the 1-year business plan which is executed in the regions
- Drives new global Platform programs; Engages with the Regional Marketing teams to drive implementation and ensure good alignment with the other programs
- Monitors competitor landscape closely and uses insight to inform global strategy and action plans
- Develops thought leadership content for the Growth Platform and works with the Global Communication team to communicate it externally
- Identifies new innovation project ideas in support of the Growth Platform based on unmet needs; develops the business cases and project documentation and act as the Project Business Owner through the Stage Gate process.
- Coordinates and delivers the Innovation Promise targets for the global Growth Platform
- Develops and delivers launch plans for new products; tracks progress in the regions and in the marketplace, ensuring good alignment with other programs
- Sets pricing guardrails for new products using value pricing methodologies
- Shapes clear and powerful value propositions for each product / product range and a clear product positioning strategy
- Briefs the global Marketing Communications team on the platform strategy to inform the development of the communications plans to drive growth. Oversees the implementation
- Ensures all relevant marketing collateral is up to date, and maintains digital content

Qualified candidates will have:
- Bachelors or Masters’ degree
- 7-10 years previous industrial experience in a specialties environment
- A history of successful customer and GTM interaction
- Demonstrated financial and business acumen
- Prior experience managing a team a plus
- Ability to thrive in a high-performance environment
- Strong project management skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Flexible, responsive and works well on own initiative
