The campus is due to be completed in December 2023 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.

JOB PURPOSE

Skin Care is the largest personal care category, a competitive and complex market growing strongly year-over-year. Unilever is the #3 player globally, and #1 in D&E markets. Our Category is deeply committed to Positive Beauty – helping people to live wonderfully well in the skin they’re in and the world we share. Our purpose is fuelled by a powerhouse stable of global beauty brands across both Face Care and Hand & Body including Vaseline, Pond’s, Glow & Lovely, Dove, AHC, Simple, Mele and St Ives. 

We’re looking for a driven, talented individual to join the Skin Care Global Category Strategy team in 100VE, London. This team of five is the backbone of the category, and this 1C role is central in driving and implementing our Skin Care Category.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quantitatively drive the innovation funnel sufficiency, quality, complexity and in-market delivery metrics of the global category portfolio

  • Accelerate Innoflex (UL Innovation Management tool) & Investor Board Governance

  • Act as a right hand of the Global Category Manager with the preparation of Global Strategy presentations for the key senior stakeholder forums including Unilever Leadership Team

  • Expand organisational beauty capability by working on upskilling programs and competition scanning for the global category

  • Work closely with Finance, Consumer & Market Insight (CMI), Research & Development (R&D) to monitor performance and recommend/drive interventions.

ALL ABOUT YOU

  • Advanced Analytical & Quantitative data management skills: knowledge of advanced excel, running pivots, converting complex data into rich analysis and actionable insight.

  • Organization/Attention to Detail: outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to seamlessly manage multiple overlapping priorities to meet key deadlines, whilst ensuring high quality outputs

  • Passion for Beauty: Innate curiosity for beauty

  • Externally focused: obsessed by market, consumer and customer beauty trends with an eye to convert them into tangible business opportunities

  • Marketing experience in Global or Local role or Innovation Performance/Management but open to other experience such as CMI

  • Bias for action: eagerness to learn, contribute and go above and beyond

  • Team player: highly collaborative individual, providing support as and when needed, even when sometimes outside of job scope

Recruitment Fraud

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. 

In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs.  These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate. 

How is Unilever tackling this?

Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down. 

What can I do?

If you become aware of potential recruitment fraud, spot fake Unilever recruitment adverts or fake LinkedIn profiles, report them to the IT Services Desk via Una Live Chat.
