The Global Senior Web Solution Architect designs and supports the development of technology assets to ensure that our strategic web CMS platform meet existing and future business needs in alignment with architectural standards. The role holder is a world class technical leader in the field (Acquia) with an understanding of business goals, web strategies having technical depth in associated technologies. Role holder has accomplished most, ideally all Acquia certifications, up to the title of Drupal “Grand Master”.

• Acquia architect (5 years+) having most or all Drupal certifications and aspiring to remain or become a world class expert in this field
• Drupal development experience (7 years+)
• Multiple & extended experiences in multiple roles designing, developing, testing or supporting consumer facing web sites.
• Ability to collaborate in a virtual and global product team following agile run methodologies (Agile).
• Any experience and knowledge in digital marketing, integration with consumer data platforms (CDP, CRM, DMP...) or Web3 is appreciated

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Responsible for back-end bug fixes, critical updates, and general platform site upkeep
  
• Maintains various Drupal installation profiles and modules: both internally used modules and those provided from the community
  
• Evaluate/configure/install contributed modules as well as update the custom modules
  
• Pairs with front-end developers and back-end developers on bug fixes and platform development tasks as needed
  
• Assists in the grooming of user stories that they will be assigned on
  
• Delivers high-quality code following defined best practices
  
• Delivers unit testing for key features/functionalities
  
• Conducts code reviews on other developers’ Pull Requests
  
• Supports validation of platform technical (capabilities) roadmap in scope as well as its execution on time, budget with required quality
  
• Supports evaluation, design and analysis of enterprise-wide solutions running on platforms in scope
  
• Translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives
  
• Proposes architecture solutions based on business and technology considerations, and suitable alternatives to satisfy customer needs
  
• Acts as a bridge between technical and business audiences during solution development
  
• Analyzes the current architecture to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
  
• Collaborates with enterprise architecture, information security and applications and infrastructure teams to produce optimal designs
  
• Ensures compliance of solutions to architectural standards
  
• Acts as a subject matter expert on technologies and trends in solutions architecture
  
• Acts as a consultant on the range of technologies, platforms and vendors relevant for platforms’ scope
  
• Produces technical documents of systems and architectures
  
• Understands business architecture to decompose them into business capabilities
  
• Understands business process modelling & optimization techniques including orchestration of modelled process through workflow applications
  
• Participates to / Leads the elaboration of work programs, planning or strategic orientation documents
