Colgate-Palmolive is recruiting candidates for the role of Global Learning Partner.  This pivotal role is at the heart of the Global Learning Center for HR Expertise and helps Colgate achieve its business outcomes by building key strategic skills for today and tomorrow - from beginner to expert. 

 

The Global Learning team is building a vibrant learning culture in a digital-first environment.

 

Position responsibilities  include but are not limited to the following:

 Consult with Business Leaders of the assigned functions and other key stakeholders (eg: Business HR) to understand business and organizational goals, gather business requirements to proactively identify learning opportunities in support of strategic business goals and operational objectives;

Support the strategic planning process within the functions assigned by attending and partnering key functional meetings and events;

Gather new emerging trends and capabilities for the assigned function(s) to develop new learning experiences to drive business goals;

Be intimately familiar and connected with Regions and Divisions in order to escalate gaps and needs;

Drive needs assessment, overall upskilling strategy, execution, and evaluation of learning programs for the assigned function(s);

Work with  (Center of HR Excellence) CoHRE resources to determine future direction, prioritize gaps and identify curricula solutions;

Partner with Learning Design and Content Lead for the development of all learning design and creation activities;

Collaborate with Technology & Measurement team to ensure alignment with curricula strategy and  to identify creative alternatives to performance challenges; partners to drive adoption and challenge standards;

Review content programs being developed to ensure alignment to business needs and provide input as needed;

Provide guidance to the LMS Administration Team (Lead Analyst) on appropriate criteria for creating curricula programs and assignment profiles;

Partner with finance to effectively develop, manage and analyze variances on an ongoing basis of the budget assigned;

Understand existing learning program offerings, monitor progress  and communicate availability to other PCs as needed;

Actively participate in the Governance process preparing and presenting interim learning requests;

Proactively communicates with key senior level executive stakeholders and CoHRE/CBS (Central Business Services) team members as well as Business HR as needed

 

Position Requirements:

 Bachelor degree required; Masters preferred

Minimum of 10 years relevant HR/Talent/Learning experience required;

Subject matter expert for Adult Learning, Training & Capability development with proven experience in training related fields with demonstrated excellence in presentation skills; professional certification is highly desirable;

Demonstrated knowledge of training design and development, instructional methodology and adult learning theory;

Demonstrated skill in applying approaches, tools, and techniques to gain the cooperation and support of others; ability to lead by example and foster collaborative relationships;

Ability to partner, build trust, collaborate, and impact decisions within and outside the organization; 

Demonstrated skill in applying  tools and techniques for grasping new concepts, acquiring new ways of seeing things, and revising ways of thinking and patterns of behavior;

Demonstrated skill in applying approaches, tools, and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner;

Ability to express oneself to provide information to others effectively and in a succinct manner; advanced verbal, written, and presentation abilities; ability to ask thoughtful questions to gain insights, listen, and understand other perspectives;

Ability to use a broad range of methods, assumptions, frameworks, and perspectives when solving problems and making decisions;

Project planning and management experience, including the ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1–2 years), and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the business plan;

Knowledge of and ability to use industry and organization standards, procedures, and policies relevant to staff learning and development
