The Data Analyst is responsible supporting the Global Supply Chain and Operations function by providing data analysis support and driving related projects. The primary focus is to enable better decision making by providing timely and high quality data to leaders. This includes development of reports and data visualizations as well as leveraging analytical techniques to identify connections, uncover insights, and make recommendations to improve performance against critical KPI’s for Supply Chain and Operations teams, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and Procurement.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and high-quality information and data analytics to the supply chain and operations organization in order to support decision making and prioritization.
  • Leverage systems and data analytics tools to identify unique relationships between data sets and makes recommendations to deliver supply chain and operations improvements
  • Create solutions to efficiently manage and consistently deliver reports and visualization to internal customers on a periodic basis (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports)
  • Develop necessary data infrastructure and practices to efficiently consolidate data and efficiently deliver information to the supply chain and operations teams
  • Use internal data sources to model supply chain and operations activities and make recommendations to optimize
  • Build and maintain reporting systems which provide users with access data on demand
  • Develops data presentation tools including charts, graphs, and other visuals for internal and external reporting
  • Develop SOPs, documentation, and training for any new reports and visualizations
  • Execute strategy to advance data analytics maturity aligned to enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Support tool and reporting capability creation in partnership with business teams and IT
  • Work cross functionally to influence and drive projects to deliver overall business goals
  • Partner with IT teams to drive system changes and improvements which enhance our ability to convert data into useful information

 

Qualified candidates will have:

Mandatory requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field
  • Prior experience working in an Operations or Supply Chain environment in a data science role
  • Data Visualization Experience, such as Tableau, or Power BI
  • Experience in managing business intelligence and analytics applications: SAP BW reporting
  • Knowledge of current and emerging data analysis technologies, trends, and strategic application to business needs
  • Fluency in English

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience using Statistical Tools with R, or MiniTab
  • Project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects of diverse scopes in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
